Description

Mebex Tablets 100mg contain Mebendazole, a broad-spectrum anthelmintic (anti-worm) agent that kills intestinal parasites by blocking their glucose uptake, leading to immobilisation and death. It is effective against a wide range of intestinal worm infestations and is one of the most prescribed de-wormers in Pakistan.

Key Uses: Threadworm (Enterobius vermicularis), roundworm (Ascaris lumbricoides), hookworm (Ancylostoma, Necator), whipworm (Trichuris trichiura), mixed intestinal worm infestations.

Composition: Mebendazole 100mg per tablet. Pack of 6 tablets.

Dosage: Threadworm: single 100mg dose (repeat after 2–3 weeks). Other worms: 100mg twice daily for 3 days. Children over 2 years can be treated with the same dose as adults.

Note: Treat all household members simultaneously for threadworm. Wash hands, bedding, and clothing during treatment. Safe from age 2 years.
