Description

Duphaston Tablets 10mg contain Dydrogesterone, a retroprogesterone that closely mimics natural progesterone with high selectivity for progesterone receptors. It is among the most prescribed gynaecological medicines in Pakistan, particularly for progesterone support in early pregnancy complications and menstrual disorders.

Key Uses: Threatened miscarriage, recurrent pregnancy loss (habitual abortion), dysmenorrhoea (period pain), endometriosis, irregular menstruation, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), progesterone phase support in IVF/ART, hormone replacement therapy (HRT).

Composition: Dydrogesterone 10mg per tablet. Pack of 20 tablets (2×10).

Dosage: Varies by indication as prescribed by your gynaecologist. For threatened miscarriage: typically 40mg initially then 10mg every 8 hours until symptoms resolve.
