Description

Rigix Tablets 10mg contain Cetirizine Hydrochloride, a second-generation antihistamine that blocks H1 receptors with minimal CNS sedation compared to older antihistamines. It provides effective, once-daily relief from allergy symptoms without the excessive drowsiness associated with first-generation antihistamines.

Key Uses: Allergic rhinitis (hay fever), perennial allergic rhinitis, chronic urticaria (hives), allergic conjunctivitis, skin allergies and itching, insect bite reactions, allergic eczema flares.

Composition: Cetirizine HCl 10mg per tablet. Pack of 10 tablets.

Dosage: Adults and children over 12: 10mg once daily at night (may cause mild drowsiness in some patients). Children 6–12 years: 5mg twice daily.

Note: Preferred over first-generation antihistamines for daytime use. Avoid operating heavy machinery if drowsiness occurs. Safe during breastfeeding with physician advice.
