Description

Telma Tablets 40mg contain Telmisartan, an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessel walls by blocking the vasoconstrictive effects of angiotensin II. It is a long-acting, once-daily antihypertensive with the longest half-life in its class, providing 24-hour blood pressure control.

Key Uses: Hypertension (high blood pressure), cardiovascular risk reduction in high-risk patients (post-MI, diabetes with microalbuminuria), diabetic nephropathy protection, heart failure (ARB component).

Composition: Telmisartan 40mg per tablet. Pack of 14 tablets.

Dosage: 40–80mg once daily. Can be taken with or without food. As prescribed by your physician or cardiologist.

⚠️ Prescription Required: Monitor BP, renal function, and potassium levels. Contraindicated in pregnancy — use effective contraception. Avoid in bilateral renal artery stenosis.
