Description

Daonil Tablets 5mg contain Glibenclamide (Glyburide), a second-generation sulphonylurea oral hypoglycaemic agent. It stimulates insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells, effectively lowering blood glucose levels in patients with Type 2 diabetes mellitus not controlled by diet alone.

Key Uses: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (NIDDM), blood glucose control as monotherapy or in combination with other antidiabetics.

Composition: Glibenclamide 5mg per tablet. Pack of 30 tablets.

Dosage: As prescribed by your physician. Take with breakfast or the first main meal. Dose titration required based on blood glucose monitoring.

⚠️ Prescription Required: Monitor blood glucose regularly. Risk of hypoglycaemia — carry sugar/glucose at all times. Not for Type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
