Description

Nexium Tablets 40mg contain Esomeprazole Magnesium, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that irreversibly blocks gastric acid secretion. As one of the most potent PPIs available, Nexium 40mg provides sustained acid suppression for severe acid-related disorders including refractory GERD, peptic ulcers, and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Key Uses: Severe GERD and erosive oesophagitis, peptic ulcer disease (gastric and duodenal), H. pylori eradication (as part of triple therapy), NSAID-induced ulcer prevention, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Composition: Esomeprazole 40mg per tablet. Pack of 14 tablets.

Dosage: 40mg once daily before breakfast, or as prescribed. Swallow whole — do not crush or chew.

⚠️ Prescription Required: Long-term use may reduce magnesium and B12 levels. Monitor bone density in prolonged use. Exclude gastric malignancy before starting therapy.
